Whispering Weekend 2 Reloaded
- Description
-
YOLOAfricans offers a comprehensive range of services to ensure that your travel experience is smooth, enjoyable, and tailored to your preferences.
The YOLOAfricans team used the inaugural Whispering Weekend to explore the relics of the slave trade in Badagry, Nigeria. The team uncovered the history of this dark period and raised awareness about the transatlantic slave trade.
They visited various sites, including the Slave Port, the Brazilian Barracoon, and the Point of No Return, where slaves were transported and held captive.
The team interviewed locals and historians to gain a deeper understanding of the pain and suffering endured by millions of Africans during this time. They hope that by sharing these stories, they can promote healing, reconciliation, and education about the legacy of slavery.
After the success of the Whispering Weekend, YOLOAfricans’ management is bringing back the package for the Easter weekend break.
